The Wisconsin Green Building Alliance's (WGBA) mission is to facilitate and promote the development and use of ecologically sustainable materials and practices within Wisconsin's built environment.
WGBA is an affiliate of the US Green Building Council. Visit the USGBC website for information on national-level news and green building initiatives.
Wisconsin Green Building Alliance provides a variety of resources, including: an annual green building conference, educational forums and site visits to green demonstration projects, a quarterly newsletter and an annual assessment survey to keep abreast of the needs of the industry.

WGBA is seeking Executive Director
The Wisconsin Green Building Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with over 250 member companies dedicated to promoting sustainable building in Wisconsin. We are an affiliate of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), a regional leader in green building and sustainability, and currently located in Milwaukee, WI.
The WGBA is seeking an Executive Director who is passionate about sustainability and organizational excellence. The Executive Director will oversee all aspects of the organization consistent with the vision of the WGBA, which is the recognized leader of sustainable building in Wisconsin.
The ideal candidates will posses the following skills and knowledge:
- Strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Self directed, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Detail oriented, with excellent organizational skills
- Prior non-profit experience preferred
- Expertise in one or more areas related to sustainable buildings

The Energy Center of Wisconsin is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to improving energy efficiency in Wisconsin. Funded primarily by Wisconsin utilities, the Center spends $4.5 million annually on energy efficiency research, education and demonstrations aimed at residents, businesses and government.
